Dear friends, travelers and seekers of adventure,

This little sweetie is Goldie. I have breakfast with her every morning. On the back porch during the warmer months and at my kitchen table during the colder.

We all have busy, jam-packed lives and this is my way of starting my day off slowly and with intention. I purposefully take time away from my phone (especially) and work to give myself head-space and get clear about what I want to accomplish each day.

Sometimes I feel the pull, like I should be checking emails, texts, etc… but even 20 minutes to myself, with Goldie, enjoying breakfast keeps me grounded through the day. She reminds me there are other things, life away from work and screens.

A yoga retreat is a wonderful place to reboot your habits. A couple days of relaxation and nights of deep sleep into a week away will give you invaluable insight on what’s working in your favor and what’s not. Having 3 yoga classes daily, nutritious meals and as much as down-time or adventure as you choose will give you clarity about your daily ritual and how it’s serving you.
