This is the perfect place to get away and unplug with 5 nights and 6 days of swimming in the ocean, eating delicious and healthy food, and all the time in the world to relax and focus on YOU with an awesome group of fellow travelers.
You will have plenty of options to try new things in a new year. Take a beginner surf lesson, a vegetarian cooking class, visit a turtle sanctuary or hike on a volcano. This is a stunning location and there are lots of options to explore sand and sea.

A GYPSET Yoga Retreat with Melissa and Laurel was exactly what my corporate mama soul needed to ensure I was refreshed and re-energized after a long year of work, building teams, and deadlines. It was the perfect mix of connectedness with the other attendees, a peaceful time on my mat, and good workouts that challenged my mind and body. Food
Plan for plant based meals that will keep you satiated, fueled, and nourished. Most of our ingredients are from the onsite organic farm.
3 healthy & plant based meals daily, along with a daily snack. All diets can be accommodated: vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free.

Location
Plan on incredible night-time views of the sky as we will be 45 minutes outside of any major towns. Spend your days lounging on stunningly beautiful, black sand beaches or soaking up the sun pool-side with ocean views. Swing in a hammock, cool off with a cold cerveza or tropical cocktail.
But if you forget something, transport to town can always be arranged too.
Surfing
Surf lessons are $50 including board & instructor.
Don’t be shy if you’re brand new, we love beginners!
Our instructors will help you learn how to read the waves, paddle, catch a wave, etiquette, safety, and more!
Nahualapa Bay: All Levels | 7 min walk
Los Clavos: Beginners | 15 min walk / 5 min drive

The Point: Intermediate / Advanced | 20 min drive
Aposentillo: All Levels | 30 min drive

If you’re comfortable going without an instructor, feel free to head out on your own. There are breaks up and down the entire coastline of Nicaragua, and countless within walking or short driving distance from the venue.
Getting to the Retreat:
Fly into Managua airport. The venue is about 3.5 hours away (by car) from the Managua airport.
Airport transport is not included, but we will set up transfers to and from the airport to the retreat center for you.
The cost is $120-$160 per car or van each way. We will split the transport costs evenly amongst the group. So, the cost will be approximately $100-$150/per person round trip
